On September 7-8 we joined friends and neighbors from Liberty Hill at Felix Pinckney Community Center for the annual cultural arts festival. The bash began with a seafood dinner – a feast with crabs, red rice, fried fish and shrimp…and live music and a dj serenading the crowd into the evening.

On Saturday, a family festival and parade was held by day. At night, people hit the dance floor and enjoyed jazz from local favorites Lonnie Hamilton, Hodge Podge and Xtreme Level. Many thanks to Coakley Hilton, Deroshiers Price and all the other folks from the community that poured time and energy into organizing this fun event.
