Little Green Bags
I’On Realty was a proud sponsor of the Little Green Bag project – an effort to reduce waste and encourage environmental awareness. Read more about the project:
The Little Green Bag project took action on August 18th at The Whole Foods in
Mount Pleasant.  Jennifer and Mike Mathis handed out bags made from a fabric called EcoSpun (100% post consumer content) to shoppers willing to use the bags. This project began back in April after a ‘decorate your shopping bag’ party for her children. Since then, the project has collected numerous donations and has 905 bags paid for with the help of more than 30 businesses. I’On was happy to donate to a cause that encourages shoppers to become more eco-minded. It is important to keep in mind that Jennifer’s mission is not to make money, it is to see how far this movement can go to change the communities plastic bag habit!  If you would like to learn more about The Little Green Bag Project please visit www.littlegreenbagproject.com or contact Jennifer Mathis at jenandmike@tds.net.Â
