Mixson’s presenting a fashion show this year at Charleston Fashion Week–and as those of you who know Mixson will gather, it’s not going to be your average stick-figured models in international couture affair. The invitation below comes from our friend Ambergre Sloan over at Charleston’s Most Unique, also a sponsor of the evening: Join us as we celebrate the innovative and hip style blooming in this great city. Locally available street wear, handmade conceptual garments, and born again apparel will be modeled by smiling Charlestonians of all shapes and sizes. There will be dee-lish munchies from OM Cooking, sweets from Sugar Bakeshop, local brew from Coast, wine selected by the Trusted Palate, and thumpin’ beats by Spaced Invaders. Tickets are $20 in advance (available at MaxJerome and Global Awakening) and $25 at the door. The show starts at 8 pm on Saturday, March 22 at the English Rose, located at 501 King Street.
