Not So Big House joins Not So Big Life for a Not So Big Newsletter
Well, the newsletter actually is pretty big, which is weird considering its title. It’s technically a minizine-diminutive for magazine, that is. All wordplay aside, though, Sarah Susanka (of The Not So Big House fame-look to the left) has added articles relating to her second book, The Not So Big Life to her Not So Big House newsletter, since she noticed that readers seem to find the parallels between the books incredibly helpful.Â
What “not so big” means philosophically is “quality of place over quantity of space;” or, in life terms, “quality of life over quantity of activity.” A much needed message, I think, for everyone from college graduates striving to prove themselves as indispensible employees to the quintessential working mother who feels the pressure to be the perfect career girl and the perfect mother. Susanka’s first edition of the minizine is here-make time to take a look.
