is going to be a busy one!  First of all, there’s the Art Walk in the Olde North Charleston Business District (that’s E. Montague Ave, near Park Circle) on Wednesday, May 6 from 6-8pm. You won’t want to miss this chance to see the artwork REALLY north of Broad Street.

To ring in the summertime, the North Charleston Business District is hosting a Block Party on Friday, May 8 from 6:30-10:30pm.  Everyone is welcome!

The North Charleston Arts Festival has been going on since May 1, but you’ve still got time to participate – there are individual events all week.  On Saturday, May 9 the Arts Festival holds its grande finale, complete with fireworks, at Riverfront Park from 6-9pm.  All you need to bring is a blanket – the event is completely free.
