Don’t miss the Morris Square piazza’s first ever street party! We’re dedicating the piazza and Simonton Park to the city, and Mayor Riley and Vince Graham, founder of the I’On Group, will both speak at 6:00 pm. Leah Suarez, founder of Jazz Artists of Charleston, will perform with her jazz trio, while art by Nathan Durfee will be on display in the space off of the piazza. We’ll also have great food from Bohicket Barbecue, along with beer, wine, and sodas. The event is free and open to the public, so please come on down and enjoy the latest additions to Charleston’s public realm! Morris Square is located downtown, at the corner of Morris and Smith St.
